“HOT” Girls Summer Camp is for girls aged 12 to 18. HOT, an acronym for Hands-On Training, Girls Summer Camp offers a week-long immersive and fun experience led by Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue professionals. At "HOT Girls Summer Camp," participants will engage in firefighting drills and emergency medical scenarios, and receive instruction in vital life skills, all geared towards fostering leadership, enhancing confidence, building physical fitness, and strengthening mental resilience. H.O.T. Girls Summer Camp will be led by members of Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue.

Helmet, eye protection, and gloves will be issued and returned on the last day.

Practices will start at 5PM, early in the season practices will end around 6, however if athletes have specialty events (ie High Jump, Long Jump Hurdles) those practices may not be done until 7PM later in the season.

Once the school year ends, practice might start earlier (4-430) but that will be decided based on students and parents.

The Summer Track Program is a AAU affiliated team that trains and competes in the region.  In 2024 6 members of the team qualified for National Championships or better known as the Junior Olympics. All Events for Track and Field are available to train and complete.  Come Run, Jump and Throw with the best in the Low Country. "Corey Taylor, Head Coach, is a former All American hurdler with USC and High School Track and Field Coach.  Coach Taylor still holds Collegiate hurdle records.

Jeremy Press, Assistant Coach, a former collegiate Decathlete and USATF certified coach is also at every practice with Coach Tayor helping the athletes of the program prepare for competitions or just get in better shape for Fall sports.

Jesse Eddy, Hilton Head native, and local basketball standout played at Armstrong Atlantic State University before going on to the European summer league. As a starting point guard, he led his team to a championship before returning to his home here on Hilton Head to work with developing players. Jesse uses his background in biology, physical therapy, and personal training and his deep passion for and knowledge of the game of basketball to train the next generation of athletes into the best players they can be.

We supply all the pads, gear and will deliver the stroke! Participants will be able to showcase their skills in front of their parents during the Friday Contest at the conclusion of camp.

Led by Maxcy Hicks. Maxcy has been skating his entire life and has competed in and won several skate competitions throughout his career. He was sponsored by Fuel Skate Team and has led multiple Skate Demos and has showcased his skills at various Skate Park Openings and Trade Shows as a Fuel Skate Team member. Maxcy also played an integral role in designing and developing Hilton Head's first skate park.

Experience adventure this summer! Participants will make lasting memories of kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, fishing, crabbing, throwing a cast-net and have a blast learning archery, disc golf and rock climbing! Locations for this camp vary based on activity. This is a 4 day, 3.5hr per day camp.

Our very own Outdoor Rec Director, Nate Skager, will lead the camp, along with the Assistant Outdoor Rec Director, Kathleen McMenamin. Kathleen is a Master Naturalist, USCG Captain, and CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard Instructor. Both Kathleen & Nate have multiple years experience leading tours and outdoor educational experiences locally and beyond!

Participants must wear sandals that stay attached to the feet (NO Crocs, Flip-flops, etc). Closed toe shows must be worn for Rock Climbing.

Coach Talarczyk has spent 20 years coaching at Hilton Head Island High School, where he has won two state championships, earned three runner-up titles in state competitions, and captured 13 region titles. Not mandatory, but knee pads help.

The second Summer Soccer Camp in the Mini Camp series focuses on ball mastery, passing, and receiving, equipping participants with skills needed to effectively connect with other players on the field. Over three dynamic days, players engage in drills and activities designated to improve passing accuracy and receiving techniques, enhancing their overall gameplay. All player levels are welcome.

The third camp of the Summer Soccer Mini Camp Series focuses on first touch, shooting, and finishing, helping participants master the art of controlling the ball and converting chances into goals. Over three engaging days, players will participate in targeted drills and competitive exercises aimed at enhancing their shooting precision and finishing techniques. Join us for an exciting opportunity to sharpen your skills, boost your confidence in front of the net, and enjoy the thrill of scoring goals!

Once the season starts in July, practices will be T, W, Th and games on Saturdays. 

Practices take place at Barker Field. Home games will be played at HHIHS stadium. The Gator football program will return to tradition in 2025. This youth contact program has been on Hilton Head Island since 1969. With our return, we will be going back to our traditional colors (green and yellow).  In addition to developing football skills and techniques there will be a strong focus on teaching sportsmanship, teamwork, and life skills. Many coaches with varying levels of playing and coaching experience will help guide these young men.

Please bring/wear: Cleats, practice pants and shirt. The program will provide all game day wear (ie jersey, pants, helmet,  shoulder pad).
